Dr. Andrew Nevin, Chief Economist, PwC Nigeria

Andrew is a key voice in Nigeria’s financial strategies. He is regularly involved in advising the government on the best option to achieving the country’s growth plans as well as enabling global businesses to access the Nigerian market.

As Chief Economist at PwC, he is the lead author of the Nigeria Economic Alert, a periodic report analysing potential threats to, and opportunities for, Nigeria’s economy.

Having spent over 8 years as a Nigerian resident, Andrew has gathered an immense amount of knowledge of the country and he shares some of this knowledge in this video podcast.

Listen to Andrew discuss how the PwC’s global megatrends, a result of Project Blue an initiative he created, is helping global businesses know where future markets will be located.

More importantly, he discusses the Nigerian market, why it will always be attractive enough to get investors taking a look. He however notes that, if investors are to move from assessing the market to entering it, Nigeria must transform to become an investor friendly country.

He tells us what this transformation should be and much more.
